Dear Pete Mirich Community,

Welcome to Pete Mirich Elementary School! I am excited to begin my 16th year in education and my second year serving the incredible PMES community.

I am a proud Colorado native, but my educational journey began after graduating from Baylor University, where I launched my teaching career in Texas. Those experiences shaped my passion for creating schools where every child feels valued, challenged, and supported. Returning to Colorado has been a meaningful opportunity to serve the state I proudly call home.

As an educator, I firmly believe that every student can learn, grow, and achieve at high levels when provided with meaningful opportunities, strong relationships, and high expectations. My commitment is to foster a culture where students are empowered to set goals, embrace challenges, and celebrate growth while ensuring every child receives the support they need to be successful.

This year's theme, "Do Something EPIC," reflects our commitment to Excellence, Perseverance, Impact, and Courage. Together, we will inspire students to take ownership of their learning, support one another, and make a positive difference in our school and community. Every day is an opportunity to do something extraordinary, and I look forward to partnering with our students, staff, and families as we make this an EPIC school year.
